A dental emergency is an event that causes pain or discomfort.

Dental emergencies may include:

• Bleeding
• Broken teeth
• Swelling or pain in the face or mouth
• Knocked out teeth
• Missing restorations
• Fractured Crown or Bridge

If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please contact Finesse Dental Care on 0141 8897227 and our dental care team will work with you to schedule a dental visit as soon as possible. We always endeavour to rectify your dental problem on the day. Occasionally, for more complex emergencies this may not always be possible, in which case we will do our best to make sure you are pain free before leaving the practice.

If you require an emergency dentist outside of practice working hours please call the NHS 24 helpline on 111.

Dental emergencies can happen to anyone, even patients with very good oral health although in some cases, dental emergencies are preventable. It is important to visit your dentist at least twice a year for preventive care exams.
